My Story
Since I was a little girl growing up in India, I have been entranced by the magical power of diamonds and jewelry. My father, a diamond merchant, knew this instinctively and would bring me to the office and let me play with diamonds. I couldn’t have been happier. Later on, as a teenager I would go to the silver jewelry market on the streets of Mumbai and gather beautiful multi-color beads to make into necklaces that I would then sell to friends and relatives. After graduating with a degree in design and jewelry manufacturing I moved to New York in 1999. Over the next 20 years I helped build one of the world’s largest diamond jewelry manufacturers. I was the Head of Manufacturing and Design, and launched the Vera Wang Love brand around the world.
Although building this company was rewarding, my passion has always been helping friends and family create the meaningful jewelry that they could not find elsewhere. I realized that there were so many people that didn’t have access to “a friend in the business” and always had difficulty understanding who to trust and what to buy, so I created Karishma Javeri. Now I am so excited to take all of my accumulated knowledge and experience and collaborate with you to bring your dream piece of jewelry to life. Every piece is meticulously sourced with the highest quality materials, and custom designed to meet your needs.
